Darkness over the Face of the Earth

Take Heed the Pure in Spirit!!! Darkness is on the face of the earth, evil is everywhere around us, demons are moving freely in the Streets seeking for those to afflict and possess. Be overwhelmed not by the riches and glories in the world, for it is delusional and sheer vanity. The occultic world is true; its members are out there, amongst the sons of men, promoting the enterprise of darkness against the Purest Light of Truth, Holiness and Righteousness. Is it the so called Illuminati or Freemasons, Ogboni or other evil cults that mostly operate from the underworld? These groups remain the greatest threat to God’s creations and every living soul on earth need to be mindful of this disastrous threat to humanity.

Be confined not by popular traditions and beliefs, for this exposure may sound ridiculous to some, know this! Our individual beliefs or popular opinions changes not that which is the truth. Only pray to be guided by a Pure Spirit – The Spirit of Truth and Discernment. For the scripture said, “The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.” – Ecclesiastes 1:9. Dark powers, sorcery, black magic, occultic and satanic kingdoms had been in existence as old as the earth. Modern Civilisation never stopped them, the instruments of modernisation (technology) has even helped them to expand their operations and world influence. To the doubting Thomas out there, be informed.

These agents of darkness are using diverse means to control the spiritually dour and the dark lords appointed by Lucifer are using their influence and control over the world’s institutions to fight against those that are carriers of the mark of Grace. The proud lord of darkness (the devil) has not yet revealed himself to the world because he clearly knows that the seeds of mankind hates him, therefore he upholds those in high places under his contractual oath to command his government on humanity.

For the quest for power, desperation for wealth, fame and influence has subjected the earth to the rulership of the proud dark lord; for several world personalities, public figures and leaders are the objects of his influence. The signs are all over and this may not be quite different from what we have heard, but be strong in the Lord; for even with their technological might and worldly influence, they have no power over the children of Light, because spiritually we are far greater than them.

Brethren, we have to always be spiritually alert and be sensitive to the things of the spirit; for the kingdom of darkness is waging strong battles against the kingdom of Light and this spiritual battle against the household of God, is being fought in diverse forts. Always remember to pray for the unity of the Church. And never be tempted to compromise with darkness, for Light and darkness have nothing in common. This is why the forces of darkness are fighting relentlessly to destroy and discredit the ministry of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) of Prophet T.B. Joshua, because the Prophet has chosen to expose and humiliate these agents of darkness for what they represent and has continued to render their enterprise useless against those that have chosen to submit themselves under the authority of God.

To the Children of Light, be troubled not by their threats, for they have no power over the soul, nor be misled by their worldly promises, for its all vanity; given that our heavenly rewards are splendours. For they may have all the natural weapons of sort and the means to inflict pains and death, but relent not and be strong in the Lord, “For the weapons of our warfare are not canal, but they are mighty through God in the pulling down of strong holds.”– 2 Corinthians 10-40.

There are rebels amongst us, never be tempted to give heed to them that have been compromised and are altering the scripture for worldly acceptance and gain. For they slander their fellow Men, promote disunity among the Household of God and reduce the scripture to a mere philosophy of public debate. For it is written, their place would be taken over by another and in times to come, they would be abandoned to perish and bear the shame of their rebellious acts against the household of God.

The Synagogue was attacked and Martyrs were sent to the kingdom of eternal peace, those who have been assigned to uncover it, are under the wrong influence, for evidence no longer makes sense. The media has been compromised to spread that which they want the public to hear. For the proud lord of darkness, who with his instruments of influence has taken over the independent minds of the people and spiritually blindfolded them to see the great injuries the occult world has done to the brethren that are carriers of the Light of Grace.

For many agents of the likes of Nicholas Ibekwe (The confirmed Face of the dark gang- take a closer look of the Skull and Bones in his T-shirt) are alive in the media waiting to spread lies, divert attention, cook unfounded allegations and spread sentiments, connived to glorify the judgment by their own, mandated by their dark lords to condemn the victims of oppression because they were favoured by the Most High God to stand shoulder high above the kingdom of darkness and rendered their evil venture useless. Alas! The innocent would surfer, bleed in pains, live in the misery of their agony and be confined in prison cell, but take note, they cannot be destroyed for this is not unto death, but a living testament to the present and coming generational Churches that the Scripture is alive forever and ever Amen!

Many today wish they could join the so called Illuminati or any powerful occultic group, believing it would fetch them more fame and influence. The truth is that, the devil cannot make one great. For those great stars and the talented out there; were none of the devil’s making. The devil only use his instrument of influence to promote them that are under his contractual oath to the world as bait, but in reality these stars were already destined by God to be great; for right from their mother’s womb, they were marked for greatness. Therefore, despise not the gifted and the stars among them, for many were by ignorant and lack of insecurity fell as a prey for the devil, but pray they discover in soonest, their real purpose on earth; for many were destined to raise the dead, heal the sick and bring hope to the hopeless with their songs and gifts, but were misled by the crafty Lucifer, to use their gifts for the wrong purpose.

The devil knew he cannot endow anyone with a bright star; hence, he uses deceptive strategies and afflictions to trouble those with the promised mark among us, for he knows them great right from their birth. Therefore he causes them to go through challenges, disappointments and all manner of sad events, in other to lure these stars to his kingdom. So he can use their God’s given talents, to promote his evil mission here on earth. When they are initiated into these occultic kingdoms in the cause of attracting riches and fame, they are meant to think their sorrow is over and there is no cause for regret, quite unknown to them that spiritually, they have sold their souls to the devil and that those dark lords who initiated them into the occult, were actually the unseen hands behind those sadness and limitations that made them seems frustrated and been attracted prior to when they were won or deceived into the dark kingdom.

To the Pure in heart…, be deceived not! Their greatness has nothing to do with the contractual oath they took or the initiation and the rituals. The oath is to effect loyalty; the initiation is for darkness (demons or evil spirits) to have easy access to their spirit man and while the rituals are done regularly to renew their commitment to the cause of darkness and all these qualifies their membership. For if they had allow themselves to be guided by the True Spirit of Predestination and were patient enough not to join any occult like group, their destiny would still have been manifested here on earth, but with a consistent opposition from the dark kingdoms, just as they are against the SCOAN and the Prophet. Therefore, the great stars that fell for their bait is due to sheer ignorant and insecurity, for they were already predestined for greatness right from their mother’s womb.

Be careful with some activities that goes on in the internet, the occult worlds are using this means to confine and control the minds and senses of the people that, they can’t reason outside the box. Likewise, be careful with some kind of popular songs, their lyrics and sounds are inspired from the pit of hell, designed to influence darkness in us and make us crave for fleshly desires (iniquities and immoralities). Hence, abhorring and losing interest in those things that edifies our relationship with God. Indulge in listening to awesome inspirational songs that inspire the soul positively and help us build a strong relationship with our Heavenly Father.

Be wise as serpent (Mathew 10-16) and be independent minded (Romans 12:2), avoid those workers of iniquities out there and never fall for their charming and deceitful lips. For by their gifts and talents they write interesting sentences and phrases in the pages of news paper and online media platform to bring confusion and unnecessary argument among brethren. For they slander Men of God and want us to believe our Christian Faith is the world problem. They are good in fabricating malicious lies and use derogatory statement against the Household of God. They come out-loud to ridicule men of God and fellow ministerial brethren who are face with misfortunes. They want the people out there to believe the healing power of God through Men of God are not genuine and the deliverance they claimed are stage-managed.

They are quick to say – “We are in a civilised world…! We don’t need all these religious barbarism that take us to the Stone Age…! The Church is the reason Africa is underdeveloped…! Religion is the world problem…and blabs!” Be move not by their shallow talks, for it’s as a result of their confined brainwashed and the wrong influence they are under; for they lack understanding of spiritual things.

Has the so called modernity or civilisation bring to stop the spread of evil, wickedness, hate and malice? Nigerian Government reaction: The SCOAN Vs the Arabian Pilgrim saga

What a world of catastrophe…! I sometimes wonder why men do not co-exist peacefully without experiencing misfortunes and tragedies. It is so ironic indeed that even when one choose to remain a peace maker, trouble will still come and knock at one’s door. As at the month of September last year, 2015, there were two major heartbroken incidents that happened in Saudi Arabia- the Crane crash and Stampede which led to the death of many Islamic pilgrims. Nigerians were not left out among those that lost their live in both incidents. Prominent citizens from that country even a traditional ruler (Emir) was among those that lost their life as a result of the crane crash and stampede that happened at Mecca and the Jamrat Complex (Stoning site) respectively in Mina, Saudi Arabia. It should be of note also that last two year in the same month of September 12th 2014 there was a similar incident in Nigeria which was the building collapse that occurred at the premises of the Synagogue Church of all Nations (SCOAN) that led to the death of a number of visiting pilgrims to the church.

So far so good, it is obvious that the Nigerian government has taken the Saudi Arabian tragedy in good faith, they have seen the incidents as an act of God. And I really applaud this show of maturity by the government for taking this issue as the will of God, unlike others that would have wanted to cause much controversy due to this unfortunate tragic incident that may end up creating a diplomatic-war between the Nigerian government and the Saudi Arabian government.

In Nigeria, it is unfortunate that the level of maturity the government is using to handle the Arabian incident has not been the same way they are handling the Synagogue case. There has been a bone of contention between the Nigerian Government and the ministry of SCOAN on the actual cause of the unfortunate incidence, unlike that of Saudi Arabia that even up till now a number of the Nigerian victims can’t be accounted for.

Statistics has shown that the number of people that died in the Arabian crane crash and stampede of which many Nigerian prominent citizens lost their lives is more than the victims of the SCOAN building collapse. This is not really about the comparison; for sure life is precious, one life that is lost is as valuable as a thousand lives that are lost. The point is that, ‘why is the Nigerian government handling that of the Arabian in a very compromising way yet, chose to add more pains to that which affected their own’.

Why do Nigerians keep washing their dirty linens outside? Why do they cease to remember those who dry them up when it rains and provide shelter to the homeless? The government actions seem biased towards the probing of the SCOAN incident. They are busy finding irrelevant facts about the incident even when they are aware of the fact that the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua, has been of great economic benefit to the country. Just/ Unjust: Is the SCOAN Building Verdict really Legitimate?

It calls for alarm how disturbing legitimacy is becoming slowly ruled out in cases that are legally constituted. Legitimacy as we all know is an acceptable standard that is socially, morally and ethically held in high esteem; it is what the people accept as reasonable and in other views, legitimacy means citizens full support or recognition of a government. In a democratic setting, a law can be said to be legitimate if it has an overwhelming support from majority of the people that are directly affected by that law. However, that has not been in the case of the SCOAN building collapse, for it may interest us to know that until date, the SCOAN building collapse case has not been given a legitimate view despite the fact on ground and plead by the people.

It is well known that since the collapsed SCOAN guest house issue has been lingering, the verdicts that have so far been given by the authority have not been in SCOAN’s favor. In all of these, the ministry of SCOAN and some independent professional investigators have insisted that the authority should not hold on to their one-sided view on what they think is behind the cause of the collapse guest house, but should equally consider these facts that are on ground. If indeed the authority is searching for the truth, why would the government that is recognized as a powerful institution not concern themselves with these acute evidences?

• The military air-plane that hovered around the building and the manner in which the building collapsed that is consistent with controlled demolition;
• The Photos from a south African eye-witness that captured the close proximity of the military air-plane that hovered around the guest house before it collapsed;
• The report by an explosives expert and researcher/scientist that explained the possible use of infrasonic weapon that led to the collapse of the building; and
• Independent reports from both local and international professional building engineers that stated the building collapse was as a result of controlled demolition due to the fact that its foundation is still intact, that is without stress and crack.

For all these aforementioned evidences tendered and the suspicions generated due to the way and manner the building collapsed, it brings about the question; how legitimate is the hasty verdict of the Lagos State government and its coronal inquest? If the authority continues to ignore these sensitive evidences, what then is the essence of legitimacy in our social structure? For It is no news how majority of the bereaved families affected by the incident are insisting that the facts which the ministry of SCOAN and other experts have brought out should be adequately considered by the government but they have paid deaf ears to this.

The fact is that if the authorities continue to ignore these disturbing evidences/reports from the SCOAN and other independent professionals, the people will never take the government seriously. This is one of the reasons why no matter the level of indictment placed on SCOAN by the authorities, it will not affect T.B. Joshua’s reputation in the eyes of the world; for the Ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua will continue to grow from ‘height to height’. The verdict from the coronal inquest will remain illegitimate and can’t be taken seriously by well-minded people until the government answers these heart-provoking questions. For if the authority continues to act on such one-sided verdict it will continue to be seen as persecution or witch-hunt and not justice. How can a ministry which has contributed tremendously to the Nigerian economy, boost her international image and help many of her citizens not be granted a chance of freedom/ fair hearing by the nation’s authority? Well, the freedom of man is from God.

If the authority claims to be fair and just, let us be reminded of the DANA and SOSOLISO air crash. Is it still heard till date? Was it continuously hampered on? Where are the human rights activists who claimed to fight for the rights of the bereaved? Why have they not called the government to order after they had dubiously ‘swept these cases under the carpet’? Why the consistent lingering of the Synagogue case, if there is no ulterior motive? If not, in fair cases both parties are heard and evidence provided are intelligently scrutinized and investigated in order to give a fair and legit statement which will have no traces of bias. As Christians, we know we are in the world but not part of it, everything we do as Christians will always irritate the world, know this! “A friend of God is an enemy of the world” this clearly shows and proves that God is with Prophet T.B. Joshua in his mature disposition of his actions, silence and behavior towards the bias, criticism, unjust and abusive language of the authorities.

Isn’t it obvious that the ministry in question keeps growing from strength to strength and the world acceptance keeps increasing? The Prophet is still accepted in other countries even when the government verdict has not been in his ministry’s favor. The clamor of other nations still lingers, calling on Prophet T.B. Joshua to hold a crusade and possibly establish a branch of his ministry in their nations. If I may recount, the Sunday before the 31st night 2015, T.B. Joshua sent an evangelist to read his message to the congregation appealing to brethren all over the world not to come around during the 31st night that they should all stay in their various homes/countries and watch Emmanuel TV. This shows the rate, esteem and value that people still have for this man of God and this exposes that the verdict of the government might be LEGAL BUT NOT LEGITIMATE (that is, it lacks the acceptable social, moral and ethical standard by well-minded people) I bet, if T.B Joshua is imprisoned innocently today, that will not stop people all over the world from accessing his ministry like the case of Jesus Christ which was even worse, yet He is worshipped, honored and even regarded as the savior of the world till date.

It is true that the coronal inquest was set up by a legally recognized body but their verdict is still illegitimate. The world is not ignorant of the fact that wicked people can use the instrument of the state to perpetrate injustice. Why can’t our government come to the realization that they are there to serve the people? So how on earth will the judgment by the authority against the SCOAN ministry hold water when they have not done what is legitimate (carrying out a proper investigation on the evidence provided)? Let’s ask ourselves; why do enlightened minds of various strata still come from far and wide down to Nigeria to attend the SCOAN Sunday service? Do we think people of the world are so dull that they cannot detect a gimmick from a man who we claim is not learned? It is no news that the incident was tragic but notwithstanding, it never came between TB Joshua and God.

Prophet T.B Joshua’s wife, Evelyn, wouldn’t have it any other way. She’s happy her children are doing quite well and their father “is a great man”. They’ve been together for 25 blissful years. Lately, she celebrated her 47th birthday which she said was fun. In this interview with Sunday Sun, she reflects on her life with the man of God and con­cluded it’s been worth it and gives Almighty God the glory. Excerpts:

How are you today?

I’m fine…

I can see that you are happy and excited that your daughter, Sarah, was called to the bar today. But in a nutshell, just express your feelings.

I am very happy; it’s the desire of many parents to see their children succeed. I am happy she’s taking this step; she’s work­ing hard towards her destiny, so it’s a great day for me and for her too.

Okay, do you know so many people don’t know that Prophet T.B Joshua has a wife let alone children? So, can you talk about the family?

At least you know now (laughs). I have heard that story before. Yes, I have heard that in the past but emm… it’s just one of those things. I don’t need to tell you but I think we have been together for the past 25 years now.

Please, tell us how you met.

Yes, I have said it before and it’s still the same. Hmmm… how do I call it? It’s just a divine arrangement. It’s a long story but anyway we met and the only surprising thing there was that, it was the day I met him that he proposed to me.

Wow, really? On his knees? How did he do it?

Straight forward (Laughs).

He said ‘I like you. I want to marry you’ just like that?

Yes, but really I was skeptical because it was strange, so, I just want to thank God that it really worked out. Like I said earlier, we have been together for the past 25 years and it’s working out fine.

Most people believe that pastors are not romantic. They fast and pray all the time. Is Prophet T. B Joshua romantic?

He’s a great man.

Great man on bed?

Hmmm… I don’t know. I wouldn’t know because no woman would love to discuss her husband to that level, but I think he’s a good man.

Okay, since you got married to him, what is it that you have learnt from him?

I have learnt a lot from him being a disciplined man. But I’m still learning anyway.

Having this type of cross-cultural marriage because I learnt you are from Delta State and he is from Ondo State, how did it happen? Did you have challenges?

In every marriage, there are always challenges. I don’t even see that as a problem because we are both Nigeri­ans. Even when you marry from your tribe, even your hometown there will still be problems. But you know, with maturity and fear of God, you can go on.

Did your parents object to the union initially?

In every marriage you should expect that. That’s what keeps the marriage going. When you remember all the obstacles, you will want to make the marriage work. Honestly, you will want to do all you could to make it work. When you take a man or woman to your father’s house, you don’t expect every­body to welcome the person, but when you think of those people that say no, you will surely want to make it work.

When you were getting mar­ried, was he deep in religion like now?

Yes, I met him as a prophet. I told you I don’t want to go into details but I actu­ally went to his place.

Okay, when you are angry, how does he calm you down? Does he buy you some nice gifts like jewelry?

I don’t know what you mean by angry.

That moment of tension, you know, like when church members are taking too much of his attention?

In fact, that is the first thing you have to understand. When you are married to a man of God, you have to know he’s a man of the people. So, that should be the basic thing you have to understand as wife of a prophet. There’s nothing like church members taking too much of his time, he has to do his work. I have never been angry about it and I can never be angry about it.

What of the other way round?

Which way?

When he’s angry, how do you calm him down?

When he’s angry? (Laughs). There’s no man who doesn’t get angry but he shouldn’t allow his anger to lead him into sin, you understand? When it comes to expressing it, do so and let it end there, so that is it.

Some people don’t under­stand your husband, they say he’s a mysterious man with mysterious powers, when you read such stories, how do you react?

I know it’s not true. They don’t know him, he’s not a strange man, he’s not a mysterious man; he’s just dedicated to his work. He is a man who has the fear of God in him, that is it. Those stories don’t move me at all because they don’t seem to understand him.

So, what is that precious gift that he has ever given you, probably on your birth­day?

Not even a gift per se, but words of wisdom, and I think that is all what life is all about. You find it, ignite it and use it. That is what your heart desires.

Some people say his favour­ite food is pounded yam, is that true?

No! (Laughs). Should I tell you? Em­mmm… I know he likes beans and corn, you know, the beans cooked together with corn, you know that? He can take that at least twice a week. Yoruba call it “Adalu”.

When he wants to go for solid food, which one does he prefer?

Yes, swallow or whatever? He takes that too but beans and corn are his favourites.

Mama, do you feel fulfilled marrying a prophet and hav­ing three beautiful, intelli­gent children, all girls?

Yes, I feel fulfilled. I don’t even know I don’t have any son because I have lots of boys around me. In this part of the world, most especially, from where I am from, people cherish male children, but my husband didn’t give me any reason to think of that.

You mean you are not under pressure from him or his fam­ily to have male children?

Not at all! I believe when you make that a problem, you begin to see it as a problem before you. But it’s not a prob­lem to me at all.

Could you please tell us the secret behind your youthful­ness, nobody will believe you have these grown-ups?

Really? You know the good thing? I will be 47 tomorrow (Thursday Decem­ber 17).

I just go with things I’m comfortable with. I don’t look for designers every­where; I wear anything I’m comfortable with.

TB Joshua Bodies Delayed By Nigerian Authority

According to a government official who did not want to be named, the delays have been caused by the political haggling between South Africa and Nigeria.

The official said the Nigerian government has been refusing to have DNA analysis conducted in South Africa “even though they don’t have the expertise, facilities and skills”. Yet the Nigerian government would not allow the South African pathologists and forensic experts who travelled to Lagos to take DNA samples from the bodies, insisting on doing that itself. And it would not allow them to do the matching of the DNA samples with the DNA of the relatives of the dead.

This proves our point the those behind the tragedy played delay tactics, thinking that when the bodies decompose the chances of finding “explosive” on the bodies can’t be traced thus refusing to deploy bomb disposal unit to the scene; What a shame!

Because of the state of the bodies, just over 40 of the South African bodies could be identified by fingerprints.

I love seducing them the most – all of those chewing gum boys out there. They would see me one on one in their office. When I talked, they would like my voice and they would just like me. To the glory of God, she received her deliverance in the name of Jesus Christ and power of the Holy Spirit. Free from deceptive and seductive spirits, she confessed the following:

“I am Florence Oluchi Ezibiro. I was initiated as the queen of the coast from my childhood. When I became older, it was time to carry out my mission, which was seduction. I would go to different churches, in the name of going there looking for a solution to my problem. My mission there was to seduce men of God, most especially the proud pastors. Coming to the church, I would see a pastor preaching, “The kingdom of darkness has no power”. I would be provoked. I knew where my power was, in my eyes, breasts, navel and my hips. When I walked into the church, I made sure the pastor looked at me eye to eye. From there, I would initiate him. When everyone was seated in the church listening to the pastor while he preached, I would walk into the church and make sure everyone’s attention would go to me. The way I demonstrated my body and eyes and the way I walked, they would be forced to look at me. When they looked at me, they would be carried away. After service, if I saw that they didn’t notice me, I would request for their prayer, that I was suffering from this or that. I didn’t actually need the prayer I was requesting for. If I couldn’t seduce them in the church, getting to their office was a one-on-one talk. When I talked to them, I would look into their eyes, read and manipulate their minds at that time. I would say that I wanted to be delivered. The pastors would start preaching that I needed to be born again. I would agree that I needed to be born again. Then I would draw up my breasts and they would say that they were in love with me. I looked into their eyes and could manipulate the pastors. Instead of them to deliver me, I would deliver them on my bed. After that, most of them would begin having problems with their ministries. Inside me, I would know that they were already mine.

Imagine if she would have succeeded. What would have happened? She said that she was sent to seduce pastors and after “delivering them on her bed,” their ministries would begin to suffer problems. That was what happened when she fulfilled her mission. She took souls to the evil kingdom by sleeping with the pastor. But when she came to The SCOAN, she was unable to fulfil the mission. Why? She was unable to seduce neither T.B. Joshua, nor any of the FIVE WISE MEN. Why?

She is one of thousands who have come to The SCOAN on a mission to seduce and destroy the man of God. However, after her mission failed, she received her deliverance and is now free from the evil spirit that led her to commit such sinful acts. Many like her have received their freedom. When you meet them now, either in their home churches or home countries, they will tell you the difference deliverance has made in their lives. You can see many of their testimonies on Emmanuel TV and YouTube.  The happy ending in this story is that the very woman above got delivered, yet this poses an even greater question as regards the widespread sexual abuse allegations; what about those who came with same intent and weren’t delivered? Where are they now?  what are they doing?  If a person with such an evil intent of seducing TB Joshua to have sex with her, after imagining and fantasizing about how her sexual affair with TB Joshua would go, on getting to SCOAN, didn’t succeed and left without being delivered, what do you think would stop such a person from gossiping LIES about how she and TB Joshua slept together? Which of the two sins is easier to commit in your opinion? A person bestowed with demonic powers from the pit of hell for the sole purpose of seducing TB Joshua, leaving without deliverance is capable of anything – and of this truth you can be sure, that when those seducers who escaped without deliverance realized that their mission had failed in The SCOAN, they went to the media, cooking up stories of falsehood against the ministry with this instruction from SATAN their master in mind;

 If we cannot destroy him as it now seems; then let us bring his name to utter disrepute to ascribe unto him the abomination we intended for him, that many whom we have afflicted might not go to him and be loosened from our yoke, else we lose at both ends. For look! The whole worlds of our afflicted are going after him as they went unto him whom we hung on a tree.

Remember the words of the seductress, “Those who are truly born again, I don’t go close to them because when I see them, the fire in them scares me so I would just have to go—“When those women were unable to fulfill their mission in The SCOAN, they left outraged and many went straight to the media to profess what did not occur, writing falsified stories, claiming they were once disciples, professing that they had fulfilled their mission. If they did succeed, why does the ministry of SCOAN still stand and waxes stronger unto this day?

 

Life as a disciple of TB Joshua – Sandra’s story (part 1)

There seems to be much controversy surrounding the life TB Joshua’s disciples are coached to live at the SCOAN. The reasons for the irresponsible inquiry into the personal lives of TB Joshua’s disciples by SCOAN critics are unclear.

Though one would really expect nothing less from fanatical faultfinders of SCOAN, even if it means to intrude on the private life of ex-disciples for any filth they can uncover to hurriedly attribute to their former master as his fruit. As a consequence, it’s not very difficult to come across defamatory articles online featuring stories of supposed ex-disciples alleging diverse ill-treatments and emotional breakdown taking place in the SCOAN premises.

However, there are also growing concerns from TB Joshua supporters that the bulk of these slanderous insider stories online are deceitfully fabricated. In any case, considering the hateful and biased criticism of SCOAN detractors we’ve observed, coupled with  renamed and faceless accusers that leave nothing to track, we would say their concern is very likely. But as much as SCOAN supporters would love to answer favorably to the allegations with that assumption, only firsthand insider experiences would hold their sway against these distasteful rumors. It is on this note that we publish Sandra’s story; a disciple who recently contacted us to publish her story. She tells her story from a unique perspective which we presume you would find in-depth and enlightening.

A couple of people, claiming to have been “disciples of T.B. Joshua” have “come out” regarding their life experiences at The SCOAN. They aim to tell fascinating stories, revealing “what really goes on”. But they haven’t told my story yet.

I was one of them. I stayed at The SCOAN for several years before I was pointed to my calling in life through Prophet T.B. Joshua, the man God used to reshape my life, my character and my destiny. I have a lot to say concerning life as a disciple.

The moment I entered The SCOAN so many years ago, I realized that I was not in an ordinary place. As I witnessed the miracles, I realized that I was not witnessing ordinary events. I noticed many people following the prophet in the services and during the week I was there and learned they were called “disciples”. This too, was not ordinary. The only disciples I was aware of where those that followed Jesus in the Bible. What had I just discovered?

I recalled that in the earthly ministry of Jesus Christ, here were 12, then 72 and many times “great multitudes followed Him”. The same was happening at The SCOAN. As can be expected, in most large public gatherings you have attended, you will find those who believe in the cause with their spirit, soul and body and those who don’t believe at all, those who have come to contribute to the meeting and those who have come to steal from the crowd. Remember Judas sneaking out with the money bags in the small assembly of 12. Such was the case with the disciples of Jesus. Such is the case of those who join the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua. Not everyone who joins is perfect and not everyone joins for the salvation of their souls.

At the end of my week’s visit, I had a meeting with the prophet and was ecstatic when he told me that I could stay and become part of his ministry. It felt as if my life had changed completely – but it was just the beginning of the change.

Life at The SCOAN is unlike anything I could have imagined. Every day, I was witnessing miracles first hand. I received lectures from the prophet himself, worked with the ministry’s projects, travelled with them to international crusades and developed a relationship with the prophet, his family and those who were also working with him, people from different countries, with different backgrounds. I met a young man whose family were practicing witch doctors but who wanted to accept Jesus as his Saviour (You can see him on Emmanuel TV). I met people who came for healing, like the girl from a poor family in the US who was healed from a debilitating case of scoliosis, surrendered her life to Christ in response to His love and is still there (You can also see her on Emmanuel TV). I met people who came as if they were on a school field trip, like a secretive technical genius from an affluent family in the UK who came with his youth group and stayed for a time with several of them. I met ladies from South Africa who came separately but lived as if they were twins (You can see them on the Internet). It was amazing. As a disciple, I saw that many at The SCOAN really wanted to be changed and used by God and many simply wanted to get the glory quick, without any change on their part. That was their great mistake.

It is true; there is a lot of hard work going on at The SCOAN. Ask any of the thousands who visit on a weekly basis and they will tell you. There are currently three services a week going on and can last up to 15 hours or more each! I have never seen it done anywhere. Thousands throng to the church to be attended to, interviewed, accommodated, prayed for, listened to, helped. It is the disciples that attend to them. You can imagine the challenges they face.

But let us be sincere. Everyone knows the saying, No pain, no gain. You have to be ready to go through a season of pain to receive a season of gain. Ask every Olympian athlete and they will tell you of the rigorous training and injuries sustained on their way to greatness. Ask every soldier and he will tell you the relentless work and physical and emotional training he underwent to overcome the challenges of wars he would later encounter. Ask every successful businessman and he will tell you the small successes and failures he encountered before his breakthrough. What we are working for is the greatest success of all – the salvation of souls.

Yes, I worked long hours until I was tired many nights. I sometimes postponed my meals so that I could finish an assignment. I fought with fellow disciples over nonsense and over serious problems alike. I cried when I didn’t get what I wanted. I shouted at people who made me angry. I refused to do some assignments. I turned in poor work to my coordinators. I also delivered wonderful messages, kept my room very clean, always showed up for assignments on time and was cheerful with everyone that was “nice” to me. That was in the beginning. That was before I really understood that to be a true disciple of Jesus Christ is not just to change my location (i.e. from living in my country to living in Nigeria) but to change my character (i.e. from lying, stealing, thinking lustfully, behaving rudely to imbibing the character of Jesus Christ). As the prophet used to say, “Anyone can get a Mercedes Benz – you can buy it with money from your salary, you can steal it, you can receive it as a gift – you can have a Mercedes Benz but not everyone can maintain a Mercedes Benz”. To maintain the gift of God, we must have the character of God. This is the ultimate lesson in The SCOAN. This is the primary focus of the discipleship programme. This is the most difficult challenge to overcome.

It was a daily challenge for me. I fought every day, not only with others but mainly with myself. I realized when I went wrong but to prevent myself from misbehaving was my biggest problem. Disciple meetings were my saving grace. Yes, I said it. Disciple meetings saved my life. I received some terrible reports – in response to my sometimes terrible attitude. But listening to the negative impact my bad behavior had on others and most especially the work of God, tore at my conscience. I came to see how destructive negative behavior and thoughts can truly be. Unfortunately, most people cannot change in theory but only in practice. Fortunately, the prophet held regular disciple meetings so that we could discuss those bad habits and make correction. Correction truly makes future possible. I am who, what and where I am today because of the correction I received in those much talked about meetings.

But those who failed to take to that correction went down a long and windy path – a path to destruction. I remember one girl in particular. She was constantly being reported for embarrassing the men in the church. She refused to admit she had a problem. Instead, she would try to lay the blame on the men, claiming they were trying to seduce her, or had stolen something she wanted to retrieve, or were simply “wicked people”. Several times I advised her privately to explain her problem to the prophet and go for deliverance. She flatly refused to believe she had a problem with lust.

There is a saying that goes, “Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned”. This was the case of this girl. As time went on, we realized that her seductive acts had a target – the man of God. When she couldn’t achieve her goal, she became literally wild. Hers is the voice one hears throughout many negative sentiments on the internet. It is the voice of a seductive spirit. Now, if you have watched Emmanuel TV, you would have heard the confessions of thousands of people possessed by evil spirits. Many have confessed that they were sent to destroy men of God, pastors and bishops, those who could cause harm to their kingdom of darkness. Many have described the way they dressed, the way they moved or sat, the attempts they made to get attention from the men of God they were seducing. The similarities are crystal clear. It is those who truly desire to be free from the chains of satan, those who truly desire to have a relationship with Jesus Christ that will be open for their deliverance. Countless women have been set free from this life of seduction and destruction while countless others remain in their bondage and continue to capture others thereby. We, Christians, must be careful lest we are drawn into these seducing lies.

These are just a few short stories of the lives of disciples of T.B. Joshua. I promise to reveal more in the next edition and to let you know exactly what I am doing now, by the grace of God. When looking at the lives of those around the prophet, you will see that some are there to add, some to subtract, some to multiply and some to divide. Those who have become Wise are those who have overcome their human spirit and been set free from every evil spirit that had been operating in their lives. They are shining examples to all on how God can transform our lives.

But not everyone rejoices in the success of others. Many want to get success cheaply – without the necessary sacrifice on their part. Nothing genuine in life comes cheaply. This is a principle of life.

party would benefit. When Peter became a disciple, the kingdom of God benefited by having a superb ambassador and Peter benefited by receiving a new lifestyle, new job and new focus. But it wasn’t a bed of roses. Peter passed through serious trials and tests of faith. His character was questioned and he was rebuked and praised before he developed a Godly character. This is the aim of The SCOAN and Prophet T.B. Joshua. I saw that clearly in the years that I was there.

When I joined the ministry of Prophet T.B. Joshua, I became a disciple. I was excited to be part of such a fellowship, It is true that Large crowds followed Jesus, people lived with Him, they went to the mountain to pray, they went to the seaside to rest, they cooked, went fishing, travelled, received lectures from Jesus personally, attended to huge crowds (remember the feeding of the 5,000), reported each other, received rebuke and praise from their leader (remember Peter, one moment he was called satan for his actions and motive and in one moment, his character was referred to as the rock upon which Christ would build His church), fell asleep at the wrong times (remember the disciples in the Garden of Gethsemane), were rude to visitors (remember Peter chopping of the guard’s ear).

Spies From SKY NEWS Investigate TB Joshua’s Healing Of HIV/AIDS

Barely a month after the BBC released a report about several recorded deaths after the HIV and Aids healing claims in various churches and disingenuously mentioned TB Joshua’s ministry as one of such ministries likely to encourage HIV and aids sufferers to drop their medication without proof, SKY news took on the challenge and sent undercover agents who had hidden cameras tucked in their jackets to SCOAN UK as AIDS sufferers, presumably because they felt the BBC report didn’t have a nice ring to it following their lack of real evidence to implicate SCOAN. Kind of like a competition between them on who would better cover the story.

The major problem with the report is that it sounds more like a challenge to the Christian faith, than it even does to TB Joshua, the reporters made it seem that God is incapable of healing a person with HIV, and worse still, are making it seem that the evangelical pastors are the ones performing the healing and not God, and so the healings should be doubted. If those healed of HIV in SCOAN are often or always not healed as they suggest, why would more with same cases be encouraged to come and those coming for the same healing increase daily?

Now we must say here that TB Joshua is quite a striking personality, he has critics from almost every facet of life, in religious circles, among his ex-disciples, and as though that were not enough, the international media, SKY and BBC joined the bandwagon. seriously, their report about the SCOAN seems to be no different from what journalists usually do with celebrities, where they make accusations that are not true and attract a lot of attention through it by getting everyone to read but then when it’s really is getting to it, it was not true and it only helped the person in question to sky-rocket towards fame. . It’s also indeed very surprising that with all their acclaimed journalism skills, they assigned no responsibility to the people who walked away from the church accepting that they had been healed without verifying it by established and scientific methods. Ex-Disciples Forms a Bloc Against TB Joshua; – The Price of Mentorship or Nemesis?

We at Watch Prophet TB Joshua believe that the first to present his case will always seem right until  another comes and questions him. It is patience in asking the right questions that will force either probity or deception to reveal itself where present. But whether true or false, what we stoutly represent is a refusal to accept a one sided story like other partisan sites and whatever stance you may have taken on this controversial prophet, either as a supporter or critic, it still remains unequivocally clear that most of the stories circulating the internet that are mitigating against this prophet at most came from those who were once his ardent front-line followers, aside from raising a red-flag by giving quite some weight to their testimonies, and being a bothersome thorn in the flesh of pro-Scoan folks, it also further demystifies the personality of TB Joshua In the context of him still having an increasing local and international follower-ship even with just about enough defaming material to quickly set people on their heels away from him. A quick search on Google will reveal various testimonies by these ex-disciples of TB Joshua’s ministry, putting forward quite vehemently, debasing claims of sexual abuse and ill- treatment allegedly suffered at his hands, and this was well complemented with further questions in animosity of the legitimacy of the very miracles that seemed to have prompted them to follow TB Joshua in the first place. We at watchprophettbjoshua  would never have contested the “truthfulness” of these allegations if the word “betrayal” never existed, that is, the possibility of all these claims of abuse being falsified and untrue just as some others hold that it is true, is what qualifies it as a debatable issue, for at least those who have never lived within the Scoan premises.

It is however quite surprising that we hardly ever hear stories like this about other ministers or pastors, and the reason most likely, as our findings report is his peculiar style of training followers as disciples, different from the modern conventional methods. Quite a number of ministries have a former school for disciples who desire to be trained for ministerial work, with a process for enrollment, tuition for training, a well defined course outline in discipleship training and finally a certificate issued proving that they met the required standards during their training, but TB Joshua’s methods seem very far from this in a peculiar sort of way, apart from having his imposing edifice at the SCOAN, Lagos Nigeria receiving and playing host to thousands of pilgrims from across the world, it also houses men and women from different countries, of different ages and works of Life who have left their countries, homes, Jobs and others to follow this man as disciples, with him bearing the full responsibility for their upkeep. The prophet Himself is said to live in the same compound with his disciples and in an interview with Evelyn Joshua, TB Joshua’s wife – they are there for an indefinite period of time, in her words she said “its a lifelong training” now we know that the implications of this would be at first unprecedented, but now the results are definitely crystallizing out clearly – with all the defaming allegations circumventing the internet as well as the advent of the “wise men” who seem to be the evidence of those who have being fully trained.

Having lived with the prophet for years, a lot of these disciples would definitely know more about the inner workings of the ministry, so without asking questions and getting a different account from other ex-disciples, the populace would have no choice but to believe them, without getting to hear the other side of the story  – So the purpose of this post is to bring into debate the allegations made against TB Joshua by certain ex-disciples, of which several similar ones exist, carefully considering their possibility of occurrence whilst subjecting them to sound reasoning and if possible come to a logical conclusion.

The first we shall consider with an excerpt from an anti-scoan website  is “The story of Emma“,  A Scoan ex-disciple who had supposedly dedicated ten years of her Life to Scoan,  her claim of  abuse and ill treatment is stated below.

I’m very grateful to have found this site. I personally have been affected by TB Joshua and the SCOAN in a most negative way. I’m eternally grateful to Jesus for giving me a second chance when I was so deeply deceived. Since leaving SCOAN I have discovered a completely different side to God – an intimate relationship with Him with no human mediator, and total forgiveness without your past mistakes being used to break you down.
I plan on sharing my 10 year experience of being a disciple in increments as I have the strength to do so. I prefer to do it anonymously for my own safety and that of my family. I left about a year ago and am still coming to grips with the reality that SCOAN was a cult. It was a big shock when I realised that what I’d given my life to and built my future upon is nothing but a cult. I was horrified to find that the isolated communal lifestyle, denial of privacy, late night meetings, sleep deprivation, reporting, character breaking disciple meetings and so on, occur in most cults and have nothing to do with the Holy Spirit’s leading of TB Joshua as I once believed. I read about cults like Mormonism, Jehovah’s witness, Scientology, The twelve tribes, Indian guru cults, etc and saw striking similarities. They also record your confession and use it to silence you should you later leave like what happened to Bisola Johnson in Beware of Blasphemers. They also encourage that you sell your possessions and give it to their leaders, live in community and give all decision making authority to the leader. They also have meetings of character assassination, ie, monitoring, reporting and correction as SCOAN calls it. They also live in “compounds”, communal living where access to information is controlled, the leader’s videos / teachings are continually played to you and a false reality “euphoria” is created with no opportunity to question.
The hardest thing for me to come to terms with is the fact that I may never see my loved ones (brothers and sisters as they’re called in SCOAN) again. I sometimes feel guilty as I “move on with my life”, that I’m leaving so many sincere, but sincerely deceived people behind and it seems as if there is not much I can do to open their eyes. Since I had completely cut off from my family and friends – it now seems very strange to reconnect with them after 10 long years. So many things have changed but in some ways, I am exactly where I started before I joined SCOAN – I have no qualifications, no job reference, no proof of what I’ve done with my life. I’m only beginning to see the effects of many years of sexual and emotional abuse I received from TB Joshua. But I am determined more than ever to trust in God alone, deal with my past in His strength and become what He made me to be.

For the anti-scoan folks who subscribe to her story, what are your strong reasons for believing what you never witnessed about  a Prophet of renown?
